Job Opportunity: Certified Climbing Arborist/ Crew Lead

In this role, you will:

  • Perform and lead all aspects of arboriculture in residential, commercial, and government settings, including pruning, removals, cleanup/ feeding brush chipper, stump grinding, skid steer operation, use of mobile aerial lift, and maintenance of all equipment.

  • Provide exceptional customer service

  • Manage staff and equipment assets to complete projects to a high standard efficiently.

  • Participate in team meetings for safety and staff training.

  • Operates vehicles, machinery, and power tools aligning with safe work procedures.

  • Maintain a safe work site, evaluating and controlling hazards to complete each job safely.

Requirements:

  • Current positions available in Kimberley/ Cranbrook BC

  • You have proven experience and certifications as an ISA/ ITA arborist

  • HEBC/ BCFSC Falling certification preferred

  • A valid driver’s license with safe driving history is required.

  • Occupational First Aid

  • Additional skills and certifications: WCB Chainsaw certification, Aerial-lift training, Aerial Rescue training, forestry background in brushing, spacing, or wildland fire-fighting
